Yes but not sure why you want to post a picture of that big end problem

      Re: Test

Should maybe be more clear, I needed to copy the link to explorer to view the image, is that what you meant?

        Re: Test

Hi Mark, I read Sue's instruction regarding not putting full html coded references (re the hacking problem) and when it said the the system would automatically sort it out I just wondered if it would automatically drop a picture into the body of message but patently not.

          Hi Keith,
Does it work better without the http prefix? Just saw similar to that in someone elses post.

              Re: Test

In effect all Keith has demonstrated is a link to an external web site.
When copied and pasted into Internet explorer, it will recognise its format and automatically add the http bit.

It's a useful way of getting hi res photos into a post but they cannot be annotated and it becomes tedious ifthere are many photos in a sequence.

If and when the promised upgrade to the forum happens, we have been assured that pictures will be able to be posted inside a thread rather than as attachments or links to external sites.

                Steve

I don't recall promising anything specific about the website at this stage. Correct me if I am wrong, I know you will.

We have a pending committee meeting to discuss all Marlin Owners Club issues of which the website is one. I will let all members know in due course where we are with this.
