Ford engine numbers

My roadster has a 1600cc Ford crossflow engine but not being at all familiar with Fords I have no idea exactly what it is. I need to know this so I can order parts and get a workshop manual. I was hoping somebody in the club might be able to help. The casting ref on the left hand side is Z11M6015BA .

Mike, might be of interest to you but it was me and my step father who build dhd484v - feel free to get in touch because I can help with original spec as built via jonathanjeades(at)aol.com. Ps engine is a 1600cc 711m x-flow rebuilt by miniskirt in Parkman. Original cam was either a bcf2 cam or a 270 cam. 1st engine is still in my garage as it had an oil pressure prob and stripped a big end out. Box originally was a 4 speed cortina but we later changed it to a 5 speed, propagate was a hybrid Marina and Capri- the aluminium rear spacer I made as an apprentice years ago. Carbs were 36 dgv if I remember with a 2.3 chevette or viva radiator. Love u to get in touch and if you ever consider selling then I\'m interested too.

Damn spell chech should read Minisport in Padiham
