Re: Start of the month
For the first time, I intend taxing mine for 12 months.
There has been so much nice weather in October, November, February and March that we feel we have missed out on over the last few years. Nothing better than a crisp bright Spring morning ride in a Marlin, then stopping for a bacon butty and a brew.
Don't fancy it in icy weather though. I'm happy driving in snow and ice but don't trust these 4 x 4 drivers who have traction but don't seem to realise that they can't stop any better.Roadster MKII LWB. Built 1988. Marina 1.8TC based. B Series 1950cc engine fitted with twin SU HS4 carburetors and unleaded, big valve head. 4 core Austin Maxi radiator. All Marina 1.8TC running gear including 4 speed gearbox. Minilite style 15"wheels fitted with tall tyres to increase gearing for more relaxed cruising.

Re: Start of the month
Wimps! All the trials fraternity are now wondering whether to take their cars off the road after the Lands End (at Easter) and save a few months tax over the summer whilst they rebuild them for the next trials season ;-)
