Velcro fixing to roof frame on a Cabrio

I am having a problem with the Velcro, above the door on the roof frame, pulling away and leaving the fixing glue on the frame. The material (Velcro)does not stick back in place, and therefore does not hold the roof sides in place.Any ideas on keeping the Velcro attached to the frame would be gratefully recieved.

Mike,
I replaced the velcro above the doors on my cabrio,attached the new material with evostick having cleaned the old glue off with acetone,no problems so far with it coming adrift!

Thanks for that.Did you use the original Velcro, ie the Velcro that lost its "grip", or replace it with new?

I replaced with new
