Any ideas on improving brakes on my Berlinetta, Original cortina Mk 3/4 fitted but having trouble getting fitting kit for rear brakes particularly the retaining bracket that holds the adjusting strut in place.

Hi Jez, Which fitting kit do you mean? Is this the spring fitting kit inside the drum? Have you tried WWW.oldpartstore.co.uk? David is very helpful

      Thanks for the help Dave.
I have tried oldparts.co.uk, and all the other oldpart, classic, retro, oldbanger site's I can find on the interweb, even tried Ford themselves. All I get is a sharp intake of breath and " I used to have some somewhere" .
I have heard that an axle from a 3Lt capri would fit, this might be an (expensive) option as there are a few about. Is there any way I can modify the brakes at all.
