  • Editing or censorship?

I have removed the editing or Censorship thread started by Steve Green, as the comments put on the thread were not in the spirit of the club.

Is this a new policy that the members will be notified when a thread or post is deleted?

That does not look good. There were some posts that were "off topic" which could have been removed (As requested on the thread) but the thread itself did ask some pertinent questions.

Or to put it another way; Editing is preferable to wholesale deletion.

I take it that the individuals that were responsible for posting all the personal defamatory remarks will be duly reprimanded. Their actions, in a public domain, did nothing to enhance the MOC's image.

If no action is taken it leaves these individuals free to conduct themselves in a similar manner if they disagree with the content of a new post.
