Oil Gauge

Can anyone help, I have a 1.8 Zertec engine in my Berlinetta and want to fit an oil pressure gauge - my problem is something else is in the way near the blanking plug near the oil filter. Does anyone know where there is another blanking plug I can open up to connect the pipework. Thanks Roger

There must be a pressure switch for the oil light. Take that out and fit a T piece so that you can connect the switch and a gauge.

Thanks for this and you are right BUT I have now put something else nearby and can no longer get in to it without a lot of work. It would be easier if there was another blanking plug tapping in to the oil supply. Do you know, or anyone else, know if there is another blanking plug?

Roger, Burton Power and Merlin Racing sell filter sandwich plates that have pressure take offs for oil pressure etc. Try them. Good luck with it.
