my sporster has 2.5 bmw engine bored to 2.8L with luminition injection, when starting from cold needs 2 - 3 goes and the revs shoot up to 3000, ok when hot, help appreciated, car was built by Marlin

car was the 1997 Marlin show modeel with full luminition injection has 3 K&N filters and ecu box in passenger area, car is ok when hot. thanks, DerekComment

Hi Derek.
Could do with some more info / pics really. Is this the full ITB set up or just the ecu running standard BMW intake config?
Start by checking the air temp sensor.

she was the 1987 show model 2.5 bored to 2.8, full lumination injection with K&N filters the box for this has a socket for software imput and under dash is BMW socket for the sameComment
