Good news everyone! As you probably all know we have been working for some
time now to refresh our website and forum, so it is with great pleasure
(ok and some relief!) that I can announce Tuesday 22nd of November as the
launch date for the new site.
There will be some differences with the way the new site works,
particularly the forum, but I hope you will all agree with myself and the
committee that this is a hugely positive change. I have been speaking with
Jon Rogers at CyberPharm and we have agreed that CyberPharm will email all
forum users in the next few days to explain how you will get access to the
new forums and what to expect. But to give you all an idea of what this
will entail, here are a few key points:
The new forum is a vBulletin forum
You will all be given the opportunity to update your forum screen name
(more details to follow)
There is a members only section with Pitstops and forums for internal
debate
Non-club members will be able to view the public forums but will be
limited in the extent of their postings compared to full club members
New classifieds section
Old posts will be imported
Much more!
