    Hi Neil

What are you using to paint the motor i.e. rattle can, warm air sprayer?

    The finish looks good

Cellulose, 10 CFM compressor, air fed mask & spraying at 80 psi. All in a cold garage.

Paint flows really well in this cold weather, have to watch out for runs though. I do put the heater on for a couple of hours after spraying to help the paint skin over.

A few more pics of the work done so far.

Slight mod to the rear wings leading edge + changed all the instruments back to chrome surrounds. Made & fitted the new door trims.

Nearly finished now, just the front wings & screen surround to do + I'm going to change all the instrument backlights for LED (green). Did this on one of my Stags and it looks much better & brighter. I made my own LED bulbs on the Stag, they cost just 50p each to make and took about 15 mins each, they screw into the orginal holders like conventional bulbs.

        Neil.

            Hi Lee,

It will need a final light cut then polish (when the weather warms up a bit).

Then Stag No2 might get some attention (just a rolling shell at the mo).

            Neil
