    16v dohc 2 ltr installation

    Anyone fitted a Scorpio engine and Gearbox. Engine mounts and oil pump look like being special. any tips?

          HI danny. The engine is now running, with alpha Fuel inj, as i couldnt see how to get the steering rod to go through the inlet manifold! (expensive option, but should be sweet.) Engine mounts are the same, but removed alternator to other side on a home made braket. Took 5 belts to get the right size! Otherwise, looks good. About to put wheels on and go for a trial. Still a tight fit with brake servo, moved it 1" back to clear. Did you fit yours.?

              Small metro type servo fitted, but everything still very tight. Goes very well though. I am sure you will feel it was all worth the effort.
