If you manage to find a steel one, get it chromed - expensive but worth it

Hi Pete sorry but you won't get one, all surplus stock has gone, the chap that made them for marlin has long since retired.
Maybe the only answer is to get a metal fabrication company to copy one ?

Can we find "The man who made them for Marlin"?
I have one, and am still impressed with how he made them to such a high standard finish.

How did he do it?
I would love to learn from him.

He lives in a wood and has long since retired mark tells me he is not interested in making anymore which is a shame.
