Just spoke to my painter & told him to expect the panels in October, I have to do a bit of paid work between now & then unfortunately, so a bit of a lull.
Biggest problem so far is some original bolts too long & when they get corroded & s**t up they take ages to undo & of course greatly increases the risk of "spanner rash".
Still, I'm happy with progress so far. It is apparent that most of the ancillary equipment needs replacing, mirrors, reverse & fog light etc. I am hoping to get to the Classic car show at the NEC in November for some bits.
Watch this space as they say, my aim is to have it all completed in time for Stonleigh next year,.
