We have just aquired a W reg roadster with a chassis number of 018, all we know is that it has a ford engine and some sort of triumph running gear. Just wondering if there is any one out there that can shed a little light on this model.

There should be another number in front of the 018 and if the number is on the n/s bulkhead there may be the date behind that.

Engines were an optional choice or may have been changed at a later date.

Does the car have a live rear axle and two leaf springs or has got a transverse leave spring and fixed diff with drive shafts. Also has the car got doors.
