Hoods

Hi all, I was putting the Cabrio to bed for the winter last weekend, when a neighbour asked why I was putting the hood up, he seemed to think you should store it with the hood down, as it may stretch, I said it was something I'd always done, but it got me thinking.

So, heres the question, hoods up or down when the car is in storage over winter.

Up but maybe not fully tensioned.

Why? Because folded, the creases in cold weather may promote cracking and deterioration, especially at joints and folds.

I just leave the tonneau on and put the hood in the loft.
