Judging by the size of the louvres, if anything that's a modified Pilgrim.

Loads of Marlin Reference can be found documents here or there.

Shall we agree on Gazelle Merc parts bolted to a Pilgrim then?
The louvres and boot profile are definately Pilgrim but the bumpers, headlights and nose-cone are Merc Gazelle.
It's definately not a Marlin though.

Why has it got to be a modified anything? I do not agree that anything is Pilgrim, and it is whatever the creator wants it to be. Any builder can use any car as a donor. We have a member who used a Dutton as his donor. Perhaps someone somewhere has used a Berlinetta to rebuild a Cortina!!

You may be right with the louvers but I think the windscreen is a belinetta not a pilgrim or Gazelle Merc.

I'm with Danny. This car is Left hand drive, and most probably American, so its unlikely to be anything we have over here. And there is a Marlin regular road going car in the US, so it was probably the donor.

But I quite like the Merc.......!
