Marlin branded Rev Counter with integrated Speedometer

can anybody tell me what brand is hidden behind Marlins gauges? (caerbont or EGT i guess?)

is there a manual how to set-up the pictured Rev-counter/Speedometer.

what i already found out: access to the programming menue is by holding the microsiwtch , followed by powering the instrument. but the set-up menue has lots of functions which are not understandable without a manual or a parameter list.

what is the part marked with "??????" in the pic? the speed sensor? what type is it? magnetic pick-up or hall effect?

    Hi Green Sportster

I had hoped to offer you more help as I thought it would have been Caerbont, but I've just checked my Caerbont Classic semi programmable tacho installation instruction and it is quite different to yours: sorry.
However, I still think it would be worth giving them a call on : Tel - 01639 732200, as I would still bet they supply Marlin.

I had a chat with Terry at Marlin recentky about the gauge options and she stated that they get their gauges from ETB Instruments. Not sure if this is a special or not but I am sure Terry will be able to tell you if you aske her directly.

      Cheers
