Hood Leaks

My YKC supplied Duck Hood is still leaking after copious helpings of both Renovo and Fabsil sealers.

I recall some while ago someone writing about two Thompson Silicone sealers; both for applying inside the hood, for the seams and the other for the roof. However I have forgotten the type of sealers, can anyone remember exactly the particular sealer type that was mentioned?

At the moment thwere is more water inside my car than outside!

I tried various 'sealers' on my previous cabrio's hood all to no avail.My local car trimmer informed me that it is the membrane between the layers of material that breaks down and no amount of sealer will rectify this. I replaced hood -no more leaks!
