  • Chipperfield Cabrio

I have these two pictures, obviously picked up on ebay, marked as "Brenda Chipperfield"

I guess this might have been a "falling apart" car, used by the clowns.

Anyone any ideas on which Cabrio it was, it's fate, and any more pictures - please

Yes Dave, I know the car. The gentleman passed away during the build. This was very much his idea of what ha wanted, and he used a Volvo engine . I was contacted by the gentlemans wife and tried to make sure it found a deserving owner.

the wings were formed from marine ply if i recall correctly. Styling not to my taste I hasten to add! Did it move to a new owner?

            Re: Chipperfield Cabrio

the wheels are definately "fox racing wheels"..lol.....and looking on the master cylinder arrangement, also the sills, it should be a marlin chassis.

indeed, the rear looks like a mix of a sylva leader/star and a dutton
