    Roadster Marina 1800 TC gearbox

I've got a roadster with an 1800 marina tc engine and box. I broke two teeth of the lay shaft. I was told an mg 1500 box was the same so purchased an old one. They are not the same! The ratios and input shaft are different. I've now got two boxes in bits but still no layshaft. Has anyone got an idea where I can get either an 1800 tc box complete or just a lay shaft. If not any idea which box may have the correct ratio gears?
    I'm starting to get desperate.

Hi Eddie, I have a Dolomite 1850 gearbox which I am planning to take the lay gear and matching main shaft gears out of fairly soon, if it can be established if that is OK for your box you can have it. The box is 'WM' from memory, I will check that. Even if they don't match your main shaft gears the whole assembly would probably do the job.
