My first posting - SWB Hunter

Owner of a factory built SWB Hunter since May 2012, however not a true DIY mechanic but will try to tinker where possible. Car has good pedigree and has been well cared for by previous owners. I will shortly be recieving a new hood and would welcome any guidance on fitting. Looking forward to weather improving so I can once again enjoy car and diary permitting get to some of the meets.

Can't help with fitting new hood. Is it being made near you? If so perhaps take car to be fitted. This way you may get a good fit.

Any advice will be gratefully recieved. I am having a LWB hood modified (supplied by Terry at Marlin) so size wise etc it should be ok but I will be carrying out the changover.
