Right - one way to find out - let's try it out. If it doesn't work then we haven't lost anything, I can move threads back into their categories, if it does work then more benefits for everyone I will set it up in the next couple of days.

Without always logging in I have been keeping abreast of the discussions re. 'own builds' and 'maps'.

It would seem easiest to access, and thus I would support, a dedicated area for own builds. I, like many others I feel, would get numerous ideas from cross-fertilization of projects.

Likewise not until I followed a link in the maps thread did I know there are other owners in the near vicinity. So again a dedicated area to access this information seems the easiest. I am though fully aware of the data protection involved but surely if members 'opt in' then consent is being given.
