GPG 248K was built by my brother and myself in about 1984. The donor vehicle was a Triumph Herald estate. The engine was a 1360 four cylinder with Spitfire carburettors. The build took about six months. The original colour , turned out pink due to a problem in the manufacture of the paint , which resulted in a court case , that I eventually won. The car was used daily come rain or shine , and usually with the hood down for about three years. But eventually the lack of a heater led me to sell her.
