I seemed to have reached that age where the youngest of our children has gone off to University, and I have less taxi runs to make. Maybe it comes with the additional spare time, but at 55 the mind turns to the list of things "To do before I .................get too old", I guess!
So this year 3 of us are off to the Le Mans 24 Hours, and staying 4 nights in a tent in the Aston Martin Owners club section, thanks to Maz, who has a DB9! I calculated it must be 30 years since I spent a night under canvas, so I'm looking forward to the trip, but not without a little trepidation!!!! When we were making arrangements, I innocently asked about 'eatin' and sleepin'. The answer I received back was "eat on site, and sleep when you get back home"!
