Mazda MX5

Hi,
following a bit of a disaster with a head gasket failure on my Ford 8V DOHC engine I was wondering if anyone had considered or fitted an MX5 engine/gearbox to a Marlin? If so have they any advice, like don't do it or easy-peasy!

Hi Chris not an answer to your question, but I do have a spare Ford 8V DOHC and MT75 box in the garage.

Hi Danny, sounds good to me, is it carb or fuel injected?

Chris if dannys engine is no good I have a brand new dohc 8v on injection and loom including ecu
Its just in the corner of the garage
