The FIA state that the battery isolator must be within arms reach when the driver is securely in the seat and seat belts locked. If it's good enough for FIA, it's bound to be good enough for SVA (assuming it's a SVA approved switch of course). I wasn't aware the SVA required one, but that doesn't mean much.

Thanks for the information. As I understand the isolator switch is an accepted security device with the SVA. Will now proceed as advised.

Just put my Cabrio through SVA & they were happy with mine next to battery in engine bay. Regards C
