    Clear U profile ?

Does anyone know where I can buy a couple of metres of a clear (opaque) U profile to fit over the tops of my side windows in order to pass the IVA test?
    The glass is 5mm thick.

Does it need to be clear? There are lots of kitcar trim suppliers that can provide u channel rubber in black. It might not look great but there is a strong chance of it blowing off in the wind after IVA.

CBS do a chrome version which might look better than black...#TRMCU5 is the part no.

This is the conclusion I came to too: if it looks permanent the examiner has less reason to reject it.

I bought some from Woolies Trim today for £4, - its not ideal as it really suits 2mm panel thickness not 5mm, so is splaying open a little, but it looks reasonably permanent:

                      - though as John says, it will still probably blow off in the wind on the way home!
