  • Moving pedal box forward to create a little more leg room ?

In "stock" I have a brand new single circuit remote servo kit. Looking at the Marlin (which is also single circuit) I reckon if I replaced the pedal box for a non servo version (I had a very early 1098cc 10CWT pick-up with drum brakes that didn't have servo), or adapted the existing one, I could move it forward to gain a little extra leg room. Pressing the pedals down they aren't anywhere near the chassis cross member underneath so can't see a reason why it wouldn't work.
    Anyone already tried this ?
BTW hailing here so can't go outside to play

    Thanks.

Remote brake servo, along with an auto clutch, would that give you enough room for Corsa power steering unit?
Or have you thought of that?
20C as the sun starts to drop behind the mountain as I type!

Corsa power steering is something I intend exploring If not enough room for normal in line installation no reason why it couldn't be "piggy backed" (with enclosed chain or cam type belt drive) from a more suitable location. Some LHD to RHD conversions of US cars were done with chain drive hidden under the dash so nothing new !
