    rear wing and tub fit

    Hi Ben,

I recently went to see a set of Roadster wings that a guy was selling and I was totally confused because the front edge of the rear wing was 1/2" narrower than the rear edge of the front wing. They were long wheelbase and the front wings had a recess in them to take the side light. Was there a version of chassis design at some point that pushed the front of the rear wing out ?

Re: rear wing and tub fit

I have a SWB marina based roadster and the wings are different sizes where they meet. This is because of the chassis rail which goes backwards up and over the rear axle.

As Adrian has explained you even had to cut a wedge off the inside edge of the front wing. Picture says it all really.
