Might be useful in this changing weather.

I am still not sure how long this type of build will last within DVLA rule though.

Im not sure how these cars (including those Sammio things) get by without an IVA in the first place ... the IVA states...[...
A vehicle is an amateur built vehicle if the vehicle was, constructed, ... structurally modified, for the personal use of a person who is a relevant individual...]
so how chopping a body off a car like a Herald or SJ can get away with not being structurally modified if the seatbelts are fiddled with etc is beyond me.

Whilst John Cowperthwaite's original Midge plans are almost a "classic" (I've got a set from 20+ years ago) his latest design on the Suzuki chassis isn't very attractive IMO.

agreed Paul - its a dog's breakfast. Anyone remember the Nyverm? There have been so many baaaad kits over the years and now there is this loop hole being exploited by chassis kits Im worried we will go back to those bad old days. Cars like the Marlin worked and survived and stood the test of time because of their design, innovative, creative and genius all in one.
