Isn't the Marina 1.3 an A-Series? You could do worse than having a look in David Vizard's book regarding distributors (I have it here, email me if you want some ideas)

First Marlin I ever drove had the spare like that and no doors as well. Didn't buy it as I couldn't get in and out!
