Judy & I took a chance with the weather and took to the road to "Blow a few cobwebs away", by going to Bampton and coming back to Wheddon Cross along the Exe Valley. Strong cold wind blowing in our faces, after a few spots of rain, but a warm welcome alongside one of the fires at the "Rest and be Thankful", a warming drink and a Sunday roast made it all worthwhile. We did not see another "Kit Car" but we were told there had been a large group of sporty cars on an organised run!!!!! My local club seem to be still recovering from winter, but we are meeting up for our monthly meal on Wednesday. Car went well, I wonder if we were spotted this time!!!!!! Judy & David.
