The prop on my Marina base roadster has the slider at the axle end but my Romero has it at the other (as supplied by Dunning and Fairbanks).

I would have thought the slider goes at the gearbox end, Cameron, to stop grit etc entering the slidy thingy. That's the way I've put it on anyway.
      Any thoughts, anybody?
      Gareth.

Ford type 9 boxes have the slider as the rear gearbox oil seal so on my type 9 conversion custom prop there is no slider on the prop itself.

My gearbox is the MT75 in the Romero and it has a machined adaptor to link the tripod output of the gearbox to the shaft.
