  • 100mm PCD front hub choices ?

I've managed to get a Volvo 340 De-Dion rear axle for my Roadster. Not sure on diff yet - depends on wheels and what ratio required but choice will be either MX5, Freelander, Sierra or BMW. Prop can then run in a tube that is a close fit thus creating more interior space. The prop tube will have to be split to fit as it'll be too small for drive flanges. The tube will also act as a prop safety loop.
    Anyway back to the plot
The Volvo PCD is 100mm x 4 so will offer a massive choice of wheels and I'd like that option for the front as well. Whilst I can get adapters I wonder if anyone has ever fitted alternative hubs or had the original (or van items) redrilled ?

If you havent signed up to fastmarina the upshot of the thread Steve mentions is to try and get undrilled TR7 alloy hubs (which apparently have the same bearings) or, yes, other people have successfully drilled them. Worth going onto that thread as there are some good pictures. Its also a good resource for anyone using Marina bits.

FastMarina, is the independently funded forum for the Morris Marina Owners Club. As Cameron suggests it is a valuable resource for parts and information open to all vehicle owners using Marina parts. There are several Marina Roadster owners who are either members of the forum or are active participants there.

The TR7 alloy hubs are available, but at a price as they are custom manufactured, around £400. http://www.hamilton-motorsport.co.uk...Front_Hub.html

If anyone has a problem accessing FastMarina please let me know, I am an administrator over there so can resolve issues, much as Cameron does here.

Seems my previous message didn't get posted.
Anyway found the thread on Fast Marina interesting and have given me a direction to go.
The Marina PCD is 95.25mm whereas I want 100mm. That means the holes need to be offset. Rather than then having a peanut shaped hole the best method is to simply drill a new larger hole that covers outers of the "peanut". Of course that will mean the hole is them too big for a normal press fit wheel stud however items with larger dia shoulder are available and quest is now on to see if I can find something suitable. Whilst I can do the work myself (and have the equipment) it's a while (due to ill health) I've done such so will get an engineering company to do the job.
This is the sort of thing -

I'm going to give this company a ring tomorrow to see what they can supply -
MisteR Tee's wheel nut emporium has extensive stocks of wheel nuts & studs, locking nuts, tyre valves & caps, centre caps & spinners.
