Back to rubbing down

Not too much done over the last few days, I fitted the seat belt anchor eyebolts, then started rubbing down the primer on the body and panels, then tonight I gave it another coat of primer, I must say, I find the painting very frustrating, I think I'm expecting too much by trying to get this old body to a good standard, I think it could be done but not by me, I simply ain't got the time required or the right premises, that said, I've often been surprised by how good a job some lads have done with their old motors in very trying conditions. Anyhow, I've sprayed the screen surround in Black, it's a darn sight better than it was with it's various layers of paint, rust and silver Hammerite, but not as good as I had in mind !
One more point - no wonder you lot don't talk about how much you spend on these car's, I'm well over my budget !
