My father in law was the Industrial Relations manager of the Ford Dagenham factory in the 70's and early 80's (when he had to deal with the unrest of the Unions) and is a Ford company man through and through. Although now in his 90's he has frequently asked when I was going to bring my "Recycled Sierra" (my Cabrio!) over to his home in Derbyshire.
So it was nice to finally deliver on that long promised day.........
Ron Webster, aged 91, stood alongside my built, but not painted "Recycled Sierra"!

- he was not happy I rejected a Ford engine and put a BMW under the bonnet!
........shame its not painted as this would have made a nice photo of my pride and joy on Ron's drive outside his home at Slaley Farm.

....... but what do they say about pride?..........upstaged by a Donkey!!!!
