    Cooling fan

Hi, anybody any idea if this fan on e bay would fit my roadster b series 1.8 engine???

    Item. 191293912033

It's got to be better than the metal blade one fitted at the moment, surely!

    Cheers

    Gareth.

I would ditch the mechanical fan and go with an electric one. It will make the car quieter and more fuel efficient along with being more effective.

Have you still got the stock Viva radiator?
The plastic fans are generally thicker than the metal ones, they may foul the steering rack fixing bolts. It might look ok on installation but at high revs the blades have a tendency to flex in the opposite direction to airflow, towards the radiator, reducing the clearance quite dramatically from stationary.

        Cheers Steve, good point.
Still got viva radiator and the cooling is actually quite effective but thought a bright new yellow one was prettier!
