Re: Just purchased a roadster
Is it properly registered as a Marlin rather than still being a Triumph Herald / Spitfire / GT6 / Vitesse on V5 ?

Re: Just purchased a roadster
Hi thanks for the welcome's the car left the factory in in 1982 and sold to the present owner who built the kit and registered it as a Marlin in oct 88 then taken off the road in april 89 Then chassis number is 2301 engine early GT6 KC2826E picking it up Weds. neek week will add pics later next week. The car is fitted with a non standard vent on the engine side panel not with a row of louvres does any one know if the louved panels are available new or second-hand?Originally posted by CompoSimmonite View PostIs it properly registered as a Marlin rather than still being a Triumph Herald / Spitfire / GT6 / Vitesse on V5 ?Last edited by d mulcahy; 25-09-14, 07:24 PM.

Re: Just purchased a roadster
The bonnet sides are simple flat alloy sheets with folded edges so easy to reproduce from the dimensions of your originals. You can then find an engineering company who have the appropriate press to make the louvres.
