This contact via Derek. The photo's by email to me today. Car is based near Manchester I believe. Text from the owner;
"I owned the car for a few years before passing it to my father who now is sadly unable to enjoy it (old age!) so it is back in my ownership. It seems unlikely that I will re-commission the car but I would still like it to go to an enthusiast when it leaves me. Both my father and I have previously been members of the O.C.
It does need some TLC and tidying up but it is complete, registered as a Triumph Marlin and I would only be looking for around £1000."
Details;
"Mk1 Vitesse 2ltr based (1966)
Remote oil cooler.
3.89:1 diff and O/D gearbox.
1 3/4 Strombergs.
Swing spring conversion.
Wire wheels.
Braided hoses.
Mk1 Marlin kit (no doors). I think it was chassis number 6 but will verify.
Tonneau cover.
Hood frame, soft top and side screens.
I have had it running and have driven it up and down the road recently, and although it runs well it is currently quite a difficult starter. I think that it is something to do with the choke mechanism. "
