    Berli Chassis / KIT Numbers

Message originally posted by: Malcolm Sherratt
Does a register of Berli kit numbers exist?
If so who keeps it, and how can one get in touch?

I purchased a part built kit and have no other information ie when was the kit first sold etc I believe that the year of manufacture of the kit may have some bearing on the SVA etc, also i am a nosey bugger and want to know all I can about my beloved motor

The first Berlinetta appeared at Stoneleigh in May 1984. The last ome was in the early ninetys, The tunnel was narrowed during the eightys. So far I have not been able to date the kit from the number. As amatter of intrest I have looked at a log book of a Berlinetta which was reg in 1987, and the chassis no is 1575 b . I will keep trying and hope to find something which will help you.
