                        No keep it original the 1300 Spitfire block is quite good for revving and simple to maintain.

                          Dependant on your locale, there used to be a guy in Ledbury, on a small trading estate who had a good reputation for rebore etc, don't know if he still exists though!

                            Thanks Ben , I agree with your thinking , Thanks Cameron too , I will make it bigger , about .020" on each bore Ledbury sounds good , do you have any more clues & I will try & track it down . Thanks

                              Just looked thro my archive cannot find the info, know it was down by ledbury sewage works on a newish trading estate about 10 yrs go, but now france based don't know, cannot remember, renown springs to mind .
                              I have an old work colleague who is a member of the vscc(?) who might know, I'll try to get the info, might take some time as he gets about a bit!!

                                Thanks Tony , thats plenty for me to go on for now , I will ask around & web search , I came across a place in Hereford ( maybe the ledbury one expanded Out) that also balances things too so that night be an option , also a local place in Stroud valley near me , All the best in France .
