Check the engine number and make sure you get the correct head gasket that does look like a later block the way the bore tops are recessed.

New engine done & fitted with gearbox to chassis , .....well in principle new engine , fully rebuilt by me , all new pistons , valves, bearings, oil pump etc.
Subcontracted out machining to Country Engineering Berkley Glos... ground crank, rebore , valve seats
Gearbox just painted as it was all working OK before .....Oh new clutch bits too. New engine / Gear box mounts and a shiny new rocker all installed , another giant leap forward
