  • Top wishbone mounting bracket torque settings.

    Hi,
Can anyone advise me as to the correct torque settings for the top front wishbone mounting bracket bolts? (See photo attached) I have done a major rebuild at the front end. Could not remember what I originally did. Regret not writing down torque settings as I went along. I have torqued them up to 20nm, can anyone advise if that is sufficient.
    Thanks
    Mike

http://www.fullermetric.com/technica...e_figures.aspx This is a general ref in ft/lbs but should be a guide. Although the figures seem a bit high to me.

This may be a better one http://www.engineershandbook.com/Tables/torque.htm

      Thanks for that.
It looks like an increase in torque. As they are M8, even the lower value in the table 17lb ft equates to 23 nm
      Much appreciated.
