Interesting point maybe, I own an ex ministry Landrover S1 with an F plate. First registered after demob. Our club registrations officer got the date of manufacture from the chassis number I then got an age related plate. Could this work with kit cars?By the way did I see on a TV cop show that number plates must be plastic not metal ie Ally reflective plate with riveted numbers?
