Re: 1.8 TC Roadster on E bay
It's a peculiarity of tablets, but the link does imply it's an eBay shortcut.
I am not sure if it's an authors problem, a vBulletin problem or an Apple problem.
What I do notice however, and this advert is no exception with Roadsters, that the Engine is often described as MGB. It is a B series engine but in this case it's a Marina variant, with a Marina bell house and Marina gearbox. Nothing is specifically MGB.
Its a bit of a moot point, but spares for MGB gearboxes are far more readily available than Marina.
but back to the car, it's quite pretty.MOC member since 05/97
1984 Marlin Roadster SWB.
1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
Loads of Marlin Reference can be found documents here or there.

Re: 1.8 TC Roadster on E bay
the numbers being translated into pone numbers is a tablet/ smart phone issue. The great ones who invent things have decided that any such number will immediately require instant communication and so convert everything into a phone number. Progress!
I hope we see a new club member on the scene soon as it now seems to have been purchased.
