A sad end?
- 9th owner of T693 SSC possibly a factory built Ford based V8 Sportster
- 4th owner of Q309 RNV, an early Cabrio built by Bob Copping, owned Doug & Liz Billings for 16 years
- 9th Custodian of JRR 929D, Triumph Vitesse based special Paul Moorehouse built prior to the Triumph Roadster kits.
- 8th owner of Roadster chassis number 2395. Now owned by Barry!
- Builder of chassis number 2325 (PKK 989M) in the mid 80's. Now owned by Eric & Lynne.Tags: None

Long live its VIN/Registartion number?
It is sad as this was the pioneering first LWB. Nigel Priest had Paul Moorhouse cut an original chassis in half, add 4" to its length and make what became the more favoured LWB Roadster.
Affectionately known in the 80's as "The Purple Peril".
Does anyone know the whereabouts of Nigel and his wife these days?Last edited by Mike; 21-10-15, 11:59 AM.

It was the Purple Peril however the builder was Andrew Priest who took the car back to Paul Moorhouse who lengthened the chassis and made new body sides to make the only LWB Mk1 all Triumph car. Since then it has been "modified" by subsequent owners.
Andrews wife Margaret was the Clubs chair before moving abroad.Ben Caswell probably not the last word on anything here!!

Andrew and Margret, last heard of in New Zealand , and playing with TVR. I have not heard that they ever returned. The tank on the back was a dummy , and the rear was fashioned from a ( bath ) This and the screen being removed was carried out by Noel . He claimed that he could carry more wine with the re shaped rear!!, many trips abroad to the cars credit, but sad to see it end up in the state it is now in.
