The Ironworks rally is on the16th of July this year. Last year was a brilliant day, They even provided Tea/coffee and food ,a salad box, for the exhibitors. We are bringing our Landrover Ser1 and hopefully our Marlin Roadster. there is a Blue Roadster KHM745 on their web page from last year.They may give us a Club space. HDave

Thank you for your interest in attending our Transport Rally held on the 16th July this year, I attach our application form.

It’s going to be pretty special this year, we are aiming to have around 500 vehicles on display.* We’ll be providing exhibitors and partners with complimentary lunch, hot drinks and fruit!
We’re having* a marching silver band with flags leading the calvercade, we’ll be announcing drivers and the make and model of their cars as they enter the main arena .

We’ll have bands playing* jazz music, falconry displays and other entertainment also* – all high end stuff.

Please do send in your application as soon as possible and do please spread the word.

Good stuff, they are also happy to give us club space - the only proviso is that club cars enter the grounds in convoy as they park up in order of arrival. I intend to be there this year and maybe next year it may become a proper organised event for the club - many thanks Gareth and Dave for flagging this one up. If we can organise to meet up before going it would be nice to go in convoy?

I'll be sending mine in for Roadster YBU 742 T . All I have to do now is; Get the engine running properly , raise the sump dragging front suspension. Brakes , upholstery, hope the gearbox and back axle are OK , Mot & Tax. Simples.
