Many thanks to Brian, Keith, and ultimately, Danny who paved the road toward ownership of our 'new' Berlinetta. We're both delighted although Karen has yet to see it in daylight! I think it will suit us perfectly and look forward to meeting others of this so far friendly club - once I've joined of course!

Richard. Hopefully we shall be having a run near Exmoor in May. Perhaps you will be able to come and meet us. Details in the Club magazine. I like my Berli and there is room for Club goods as well as dogs in her.

Welcome to the club Richard, and Karen, and to Berlinetta ownership. I am sure you will enjoy yourselves, and the dogs will to.

Hi Richard
Maybe you will feel like doing an article for the mag at some point? Enjoy your Berlinetta and we hope to see you at some events.

Re: Big Thanks
Well, this is an active site! Before I bought the Berli I posted a question on the JBA Club (which I joined thinking I would buy one) and have not had a single response. Liz/Sue, yes we will be at events. We should be members by now so I'm keeping an eye on the post. Ben, yes we were at Fingles - youngest Springer just had major op on leg so he won't be running around for a while! Danny, thanks for the manual - I think the first job might be to re-new all the bushes as the car seems to 'float' a bit. I might leave the bodywork until I've seen Noel's purple thingy so I know what standard to aim for. Meeting him on Sunday.

Richard. Check your tyre pressures. I seem to need mine at about 18 - 20 psi, any more and the ride is not comfortable

I run mine around 24! I think I am a bit high though. Liz's suggestion seems about right but it will also depend on tyre size. Mine are 205/70/15.
Re Bushes - contact Brian Gadd or Ben Caswell (details in the mag) as I have just picked up almost a whole set of nylon bushes for ?40. We have a load of stock we having just acquired.

Re: Big Thanks
Hi all,
We have run with tyre pressures before.
I run 18psi front and 20psi rear on 205/70/15 rock hard vredensteins. This works with YKC front springs and specialist rears. I have converted all my bushes to nylotron and superflex including the rack mounts. This topiary has changed the handling and feel of Moll for the better.

Re: Big Thanks
At the risk of turning this thread into the Danny Nelson Appreciation Society, I would like to say a big public "thank you" to him and Tony Chapman for giving me the opportunity of becoming a Berlinetta owner (another one for the South West region!). Both fellows have been delightful to talk to; full of information and anecdotes!
As soon as I take possession of LGE 990P, and get the chassis number from it, my club membership applictaion will be flying thro' the post...
Very grateful, and very pleased! Many thanks.
