I spent the afternoon with the original builder of my Roadster, John Stones and his wife Pat when they stopped off at Burnham On Sea on their way to a holiday in St. Ives. They were both very interested to see how "Batty" looks now and to hear about all the repairs that I have had done since I bought it in November.
He very kindly brought some photos of the original donor car and of the build, which I've scanned in so as to retain a copy for myself. He also included some photos of other Marlins that he looked at for ideas before he started his build. John obviously thought highly of RNF 888R as that one appears the most! The first photo is John in "Batty" (BAT 790T)
I thought I would post them in case anyone recognises any of the cars. Perhaps the current owner(s) will recognise their own car? I hope I'm not the only one who found them interesting?
