Anyone remember the Kennedy Squire Kit Car that was produced back in the eighties.? The original Squire was designed and built by Adrian Squire in Henley back in the thirties. What a beautiful car. He was only twenty-one when he designed this car and sadly was killed during an air-raid during the war.
I think that only ten cars were ever produced but only seven remain. I wonder what must have gone through his mind the day that the first car rolled out of the garage. The drum brakes were so powerful that they used to crack the chassis. I bet Paul Moorhouse had similar feelings when he designed the first Roadster. We certainly do know how to design cars in this country.
